TaKara Ware began training with us at Kinetic Drive in February, and we have loved working with her! Starting with private lessons at the Kinetic Drive Performance Training Center in Lowell. Takara and her professional instructor, Troy Herterick, worked to take her hitting from what was already an elite approach at the high school level to one that will help her excel once she gets to the college stage!
Starting in June TaKara decided to switch over to the Kinetic Drive Summer Training Plan. This plan took her from strictly sport specific training in an individualized environment, to two days of performance improvement training and one day of sport specific training a week in a group setting. Takara’s performance improvement took place at the Stowe Family YMCA with KD Perormance Director & former MLB Strength & Conditioning coach Cody Clark and professional instructor Zach Adams, while her one day of sport specific training reunited her with Troy Herterick, along with Zach Adams and the KD Collegiate Athletes.
With the purpose of preparing herself for her upcoming collegiate career, TaKara came to Kinetic Drive ready to work, and five months later it is clear to see that her extreme determination has payed off! Not only have we seen her skills improve, but her above average work ethic has rubbed off on her fellow KD athletes as well. During her time in the KD Summer Training Plan, Takara has cemented herself as a great role model for the younger softball athletes striving to accomplish all that she has already, not to mention all of her accomplishments that are yet to come.
