Along with our professional KD Staff, a number of former KD collegiate athletes will be working as instructors at this years summer camps. These gifted collegiate athletes have chosen to take time out of their days to give back to their communities. All of them attended high school in the area, and decided not to stray too far away to play ball in college as well. Having gone to school in the area, each of them realizes the important legacy that baseball and softball holds in the Gastonia community and surrounding area, and have decided to add to that legacy.
With experience on the mound, in the infield and in the outfield, these collegiate athletes will help your junior athletes in all aspects of their game. They will be helping to demonstrate drills, important mechanical pieces and giving unique insight of their own. Your child will be able to get a firsthand look at not only the mechanical prowess of a collegiate athlete, but also how a collegiate athlete thinks about the game. This close-up point of view to a top-tier athlete is not something your child will be able to experience at many other camps, and these collegiate athletes truly understand the significance of this. With this in mind the KD collegiate instructors were not selected without extreme thought, so finally let us introduce…
